Gregor Samsa works as a travelling salesman in order to provide money for his sister and parents. One morning, as Gregor Samsa was waking up from anxious dreams, he discovered that in his bed he had been changed into a monstrous verminous bug. In the performance we see what happens when Gregor is unable to work and exchanges roles with his family by becoming the parasite who needs care from the others.

The Metamorphosis is the final work in the Bachelor’s degree of Mirko Rajas, a student of puppet art at the Turku Arts Academy in Finland. His tutors were Ari Ahlholm and Anna Ivanova-Brashinskaya.
